Newborn Portraits

What would you rather have, an absolutely breathtaking portrait of your little miracle a couple of weeks old or the hospital standby where you choose what color wall paper you are going to lay your newborn on, slide him/her under the camera and push the button?

Newborn portraits should be as special as your little miracle is. I photograph your baby by themselves, cradled in your hands, even with you lovingly gazing down at your little miracle.

Now I know you are tired, probably physically sore and drained emotionally. Obviously the last thing you want to think about is coming to the studio to have some portraits created, however these portraits are as important as your baby is. More importantly it will only take an hour or two total of your time. Twenty minutes for the consultation (free), twenty to sixty minutes for the session and twenty to sixty minutes to view and order your portraits (Viewing and ordering the portraits is done from home via the internet). In all a very small time commitment to create something you and your child will treasure forever.

Newborn Portraits should be created around the two week mark. This gives you some recuperating time and allows the baby’s complexion to clear. Like the “Mother in Waiting” portraits, newborn portraits are best suited to black and white images, however I have created stunning color portraits. The choice is always yours.

I am proud to be offering the special baby bits portraits. I feel that they are truly unique works of art that you will be proud to display in your home. We can even create birth announcements using their portrait.

Images are returned to you through your own online gallery. Images will be shown in color and black and white.

Session fees are due at the time the appointment is scheduled. I understand things arise and you may need to reschedule. I ask that you call me at least 24 hours before your appointment so your session fee can be applied to another date more convenient for you. The remaining balance is due at the time of the session.
